“Matters-ton” from Hyper Serial Music is an audiovisual performance and the second chapter of Tatsuru’s Hyper Serial Music project. The series is aiming to expand – in a new, contemporary sense – classical means related to the history of Serial Music. In this work, the artist developed and evolved into a more complex result of higher quality, unfolding the relation between sound and matter in regard to the three dimensions of space. By means of algorithmic simulation, principles designing the audiovisual substance are correlated directly; thus showing the physical side of the universe through human perception.
